The program includes a 40 hour supervised internship in an educational facility. Individuals who complete the program are eligible for teaching assistant positions in preschool and primary classrooms.
The Preschool Career Studies Certificate satisfies the requirements of the Head Start Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
Students enrolled in the Career Studies Certificate program may apply all credits earned to the college’s AAS degree in Early Childhood Education.
