Passport Courses

Approved Passport Course Roster

(September 18, 2020)

The Passport and Uniform Certificate of General Studies (UCGS) are two-year college programs in which all courses are transferable and satisfy lower-division general education requirements at any Virginia public institution of higher education. Both the Passport and UCGS consist of several course blocks assigned specific courses. To satisfy the Passport and UCGS students are required to complete the appropriate number of credits in each course block. Student course selection should be carefully considered since the Passport and UCGS programs are not designed to capture the complexities of individual programs of study at the four-year institutions. Students should be advised to take the Passport or UCGS course that best suits their intended program of study at the four-year institution. The Passport Course Roster for both Richard Bland College (RBC) and the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) is below. The UCGS Course Roster is under development with an anticipated completion date of January 2021.
