Online Tutoring
Tutor.com is an online tutoring service FREE to Eastern Shore Community College students enrolled in courses for subjects such as math, English, science, business, nursing, Spanish, computers and technology, and more. Students can access this resource for free through Canvas. Log in through the myESCC link on any ESCC webpage.
Face-to-Face Tutoring
Face-to-face tutoring will not be offered during the summer 2021 term as COVID restrictions are still in place. As the campus opens for the fall 2021 and spring 2022 terms, students should check the tutor schedule on the Plasma TVs or pick up a schedule in the tutoring room or Student Services Office.
When in person tutoring becomes available, tutors will meet students one-on-one or in small groups to help with fundamental concepts, practice problems, course content, and independent learning strategies in Math (all levels), English and Writing. Tutees will have opportunities to ask questions, develop learning strategies, and work through difficult material with the support they need.
