Purpose
The Electronics Technology Career Studies Certificate (CSC) (Plan Code 221-981-15) is designed to prepare students for employment as a Technician Trainee in engineering, communication, and computer fields. Students enrolled in the CSC program may apply all credits earned to the college’s Electronics Technology Certificate and the AAS Degree in Electronics Technology.
Program Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to:
- Analyze Direct Current (DC) and Alternating Current (AC) circuits using various circuit simplification and analysis techniques.
- Identify common electronic components, devices, and symbols.
- Safely use typical tools and test equipment employed by electronics technicians.
