Will certify the learner has knowledge & skills required to identify and explain the basics of computing; IT infrastructure; software development; and database use. Learners will demonstrate knowledge to install software, establish basic network connectivity and identify/prevent basic security risks. Leads to CompTIA Tech+ Certification credential. Prerequisite for CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ unless waived by Director Workforce Development.
