CompTIA Cloud+ shows employers you have the technical skills needed to secure cloud-based infrastructure services in the context of broader IT systems. Students are prepared to take the CompTIA Cloud+ Certification and learn about implementing, maintaining, and delivering robust cloud technologies, including network, storage, and virtualization components to create resilient cloud solutions.
This class covers concepts that apply across any, or even multiple, cloud environments, and prepares students for the work roles of Network Operations Specialist, Systems Administrator, Enterprise Architect and Security Architect. Integrating enterprise and cloud system risk management, the class helps students develop the necessary competencies to utilize the NIST RMF, Steps 4-6: Assess, Authorize, and Monitor/FedRAMP, Steps 3-4 as they complete project deliverables and communicate project results. The relationship between these steps and the CMMC accreditation process is also explored. Additionally, students will continue to develop several in-depth analytic competencies by
applying the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) of the Certified Governance Risk and Compliance (CGRC) to relevant risk management problems.
