Purpose
The Information Technology Support Career Studies Certificate (Plan Code 221-299-21) introduces students to troubleshooting, customer service, networking, operating systems, system administration, and security - all the fundamentals of IT support that are critical for success in the workplace. Graduates of the IT Support CSC program prepares will have earned the Google IT Support Certification and will be prepared for employment in entry-level IT Support. In both small businesses and large organizations, IT support involves troubleshooting and problem solving to help computers and networks run smoothly, while providing great customer service along the way.
Program Requirements and Special Conditions
Courses within this program are mapped to the Google IT Support Professional Certificate Program. Due to the design of this program, course substitutions are unavailable. Courses completions beginning in Summer 2021 will apply to this program. Previous completions in the courses cannot be utilized for credit within this program due to course redesign.
