Electronics Technology, Computer Technician Specialization, Associate of Applied Science

Purpose

The Electronics Technology: Computer Technician Specialization AAS degree (Plan Code 981-01) is designed to prepare students for working with computer hardware, repair, installation, and networking in entry-level employment.

Program Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to:

  • Identify common electronic components, devices, and symbols.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of complex devices and technical topics.
  • Demonstrate technical competence by earning a licensure or externally developed industry credential.
  • Apply knowledge of common logic gates to the workforce setting.
