Success Coaches

Eastern Shore Community College is pleased to be participating in a special project with other community colleges throughout the Commonwealth to offer additional educational and career planning services through the position of College Success Coach. This comprehensive program offers students the opportunity to work closely with a college staff person from an initial inquiry about what services, education, and training are available; through the enrollment and registration process; and on to graduation and credential attainment.

Services include assistance with:

• ESCC’s admissions process and educational planning
• Work-based learning opportunities such as internships, apprenticeships, and job shadowing
• Resumes, cover letters, and interview skills
• Tutor.com - a free online tutoring service
• Locating and utilizing supportive services to assist with program completion
• Planning, promoting and supporting special events and activities
