Face to Face Tutoring
Tutors meet students one-on-one or in small groups to help with fundamental concepts, practice problems, course content, and independent learning strategies that can be used in college and progress through life. Tutoring is available for Math (all levels), English, Writing and Biology.
As a tutee, you will have an opportunity to ask questions, develop learning strategies, and work through difficult material with the support you need. If you are struggling in the class, or just need to review material, then tutoring may be for you.
There is no appointment needed. Check the tutor schedule on the Plasma TVs, or pick up a schedule in the tutoring room or Student Services.
Online Tutoring
Tutor.com is an online tutoring service FREE to Eastern Shore Community College students enrolled in courses for subjects such as math, English, science, business, nursing, Spanish, and computers and technology and more. Students can access this resource for free through Canvas.
