Testing Center

The College operates a Testing Center in the Academic Building. At the Center, students are able to take various proctored tests including the Virginia Placement Test (VPT) and Shared Services Distance Learning (SSDL) exams. A select number of online and paper tests are also proctored in the Center for students taking courses at ESCC as well as other colleges. To obtain information or ask questions about testing at ESCC or to schedule a testing appointment, please use the email Testing@es.vccs.edu.

Test takers must make an appointment to test and should allow at least forty- eight (48) hours for scheduling a testing appointment. A student may not begin a test unless the full time permitted by the instructor for the test exists prior to the closing of the Testing Center.

Additionally, students must present a photo ID and sign in to receive their tests.

Books, papers and other items (including food) are prohibited in the testing room.

Students may not bring children to the Testing Center or leave them unsupervised outside the Center
