Developmental Education

ESCC’s developmental education courses in English and math prepare students for success in college-level courses and their programs of study. Upon admission to ESCC, students work with an advisor to assess readiness in English and math and requires completion of developmental coursework as needed. ESCC’s developmental courses feature small class sizes and personalized instruction. In some instances, a student can be enrolled in a college-level English or math course while also enrolled in a developmental support course.
