Career Pathways/Continuing Ed

Career Pathways are educational programs designed to prepare individuals for skilled employment in targeted industry sectors. These programs integrate academic and technical subjects, promote continuing education, and often lead to industry recognized credential. Pathways provide education and training in a manner that is sequential and stackable, leading to higher levels of education, credentials, and/or employment.

Career Pathways programs and services help prepare individuals seeking to advance in their current fields, for people returning to the workforce after an absence, and high school students. Curricula are designed to provide seamless transitions for the learner, and may be eligible as dual enrollment classes for high school students who qualify.

Career Pathways programs and services at ESCC include:

Continuing Education

ESCC Workforce Services provides a variety of continuing education classes to help meet the lifelong learning and career progression needs of their learners. Options include classes that may not lead to a certificate but that enhance a learner’s professional marketability, as well as online courses to assist licensed tradesmen and professionals in renewing their licenses or professional credentials.
